Oh yeah and I'm a new member . Being from Maryland I'm not ignorant of guns but my parents didn't own guns or allow me to have pelletguns or otherwise. Guess that helped fuel my interest. Tell a kid he can't have something and look what happens. I'm a designated collector as to avoid that unpleasant 1 gun a month wait. I own a walther p99 AS, a sig sauer m400, an FN AR, a SPAS 12 , and a mosberg 500 . Soon to own a UTS 15. Sometime early June. Cannot wait.

Taking donations for more guns or ammo so if your unusually wealthy and generous or just foolish with money let me know. Haha. Mark aka lonespanker or just spanker

Well I had fun and learned a bunch today. I have been shooting on & off for quite awhile and I guess have developed some bad habits (handgun) and a bit of a flinch. The instructors took the time to work with me so I walked away from the class with little or no flinch and a much tighter grouping. As far as my carbine I didn't know it as well as I thought, had a few problems but worked them out. I'm throwing my shotgun out as it is totally wrong for tactical shooting. This is the kind of stuff you can only learn from guys that have been there and are willing to pass on their knowledge, this team does that and then some. I Thank all the instructors for a great class. The Old Man Chris.

Gun Connection Training will be holding an NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home Course on Sunday, July 1st from 9am-6pm. Registration on this course will be limited to 15 people. Course fee will be $150.00 with a $50.00 non refundable deposit due prior to course sign up closing. PM me for sign up details and please read entire post for more information about who may sign up. Sign up begins immediately and will close on June 2nd.

This is approximately a 9 hour course and there will be plenty of shooting during the afternoon hours. I strongly encourage you to bring a lunch, water and any snacks you will need as we will have a very short lunch break. This course will also have a legal expert, not the instructor, giving a complete legal brief of PA and Maryland laws regarding the carry of a firearm and use of deadly force as it pertains to personal protection. So bring your questions with you as it pertains to the subject course.

You will need a carry rig, I would prefer an OWB holster but IWB is satisfactory if you are familiar with it and can show competence with an IWB set up. A cover garmet, which can be a shirt or vest etc. You will also need a magazine holder for spare mag/s. Round count should be around 300.

This course will cover:
Concealed carry safety and defensive mindset.
Self defense and concealed carry.
Legal aspects of self defense and concealed carry.
Carry modes and concealment.
Presenting the pistol from concealment.
Presentation, position and movement.

As you can see this is a pretty detailed and extensive course of instruction and all those attending must demonstrate advanced shooting skills. PLEASE PM ME PRIOR TO SIGNING UP FOR LOCATION AND TIME FOR PRE-COURSE ASSESSMENT. I WILL NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATION PRIOR TO YOU DOING THIS AS THIS IS A VERY ADVANCED COURSE AND SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.

For all those that are planning on or already have a concealed carry permit, this course is a must for both your safety and the safety of others around you. Look forward to seeing most of you folks there.

The second one was a gift from my brother. It's a company I've never heard of, but the quality is impressive. It has a lifetime warranty, and mentions even if the stone chips, to send it back for a free repair. The company is called Santa Fe stoneworks. Here are a few pics.
